Contoured Bodice Project

For this project, I created a corset and a matching skirt. The corset consists of two parts: the upper bodice and the lower bodice. For the top, I used a faux leather. The top has a deep plunge at the chest that is in 6 parts. There is boning in between the front and side front panels to create structure and shape around the bust. The interior of the top part is lined with purple satin. the bottom part of the bodice includes boning in the interior made out of duck canvas in six panels. The exterior is a gold fabric which is cut into two pieces, the front and the back sides. On the back, The back sides are tied together corset style, with six grommets on each side with lace intertwining so it is easy to adjust and put on.
